Description
The Douglas A-4C Skyhawk was a carrier-capable attack aircraft developed for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. It was produced from 1956 to 1960 and served until the early 1980s. It was powered by a single Wright J65-W-20A turbojet engine, producing 7,700 lbf of thrust. It had a maximum speed of 618 mph and a range of 1,180 miles. It was armed with two 20mm cannons and could carry up to 4,000 pounds of ordnance.
