1976 Mitsubishi MU 2M
Description
The Mitsubishi MU-2M is a light twin-engine aircraft produced by the Japanese aircraft manufacturer Mitsubishi. It was first introduced in 1976 and was produced until 1984. The aircraft is a development of the Mitsubishi MU-2, and was designed to meet the more stringent noise regulations that had been introduced since the MU-2's introduction in 1964. The MU-2M had more powerful engines, larger winglets, and a redesigned interior. It was considered to be a safer and more comfortable aircraft than its predecessor. The MU-2M was used by private owners, corporations, and small airlines. It was also used by several military and government organizations, including the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Coast Guard.
