Description
In 1980, the Cessna 421C Golden Eagle was a high-performance, pressurized, twin-engine airplane that was popular as a business aircraft. It featured a cabin that could accommodate six to eight passengers, with a range of more than 1,300 miles. The 421C had a maximum cruising speed of 260 knots and could climb to altitudes of up to 25,000 feet. It was powered by two Continental GTSIO-520-D engines, each with 375 horsepower. The retail price for the new plane in 1980 was around $650,000.
