1982 Bombardier/Challenger 600
Description
The Challenger 600 was a light business jet designed and built by Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier. It was the first of the Challenger series of business jets, and was introduced in 1982. The Challenger 600 was powered by two General Electric CF34 turbofan engines, and had a maximum range of 2,800 miles. The aircraft was designed to be a comfortable and reliable private jet, and it proved to be successful, with over 500 being produced before production ended in 2002. The Challenger 600 series was replaced by the Challenger 604 and 605 models in 2003.
