Description

The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British-French single-engine, two-seat, subsonic, turbojet-powered ground attack and reconnaissance aircraft developed by SEPECAT (Société Européenne de Production de l'Avion Ecole de Combat et d'Appui Tactique), a joint venture between Breguet Aviation of France and the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC). It was first flown in 1974 and entered service with the French Air Force and Navy in 1979. It has been used by several other countries and was recently retired from active service by the Royal Air Force in 2019.
