Description
The Hawker 1000B is a mid-size corporate jet that was originally developed by British Aerospace. It is a stretched version of the Hawker 800, with a larger cabin and greater range. The Hawker 1000B is powered by two AlliedSignal TFE731-5BR turbofan engines, each rated at 5,000 lbf (22.2 kN) thrust. It can carry up to nine passengers in a spacious, soundproof cabin. The cabin measures 19.9 ft in length, 5.6 ft in width, and 5.6 ft in height, and it can be configured in several different ways. The aircraft has a maximum range of 2,835 nautical miles (5,270 km), and a maximum cruising speed of 522 mph (841 km/h). It also features a pressurized cabin and a sophisticated avionics suite.
