1998 Bombardir/Challenger 604
Description
The Bombardier Challenger 604 is a mid-size business jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. It was launched in 1996, and first entered service in 1998. It is a development of the Challenger 601, with a slightly longer fuselage and a more powerful version of the GE CF34-3B turbofan engine.
The Challenger 604 features a wider cabin than the 601, which allows for more seating and more luxurious amenities, such as a full galley, a forward lounge, and a full-sized lavatory. It also has a range of over 4,000 nautical miles (7,400 km), making it capable of trans-continental flights.
The Challenger 604 has been used by a variety of private and corporate operators, as well as charter and air-taxi companies. It has also been in service with some government and military organizations.
