Description
The Agusta AW109 Power is a light twin-engine helicopter manufactured by AgustaWestland, an Italian-based aerospace company. It was introduced in 2001 and is a popular choice for corporate transportation, law enforcement, medical evacuation and military missions. The AW109 Power is designed to accommodate up to eight passengers and has a maximum speed of 167 knots (193 mph). It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW206C engines, each delivering 810 shp. The AW109 Power is equipped with advanced avionics, including digital autopilot, dual digital flight control systems, and a four-axis digital autopilot with altitude hold and stability augmentation. It is also equipped with a retractable landing gear and a tail rotor that can be adjusted to reduce noise levels.
