2006 Diamond DA42 Twinstar
Description
The Diamond DA42 Twinstar is a four-seat, twin-engine, propeller-driven light aircraft manufactured by Diamond Aircraft Industries. It was introduced in 2004 and is powered by two Thielert Centurion 1.7 turbocharged diesel engines. The DA42 is constructed primarily of composite materials and features a modern glass cockpit with a digital autopilot. The aircraft is capable of cruising speeds of up to 185 knots and has a range of nearly 1,400 nautical miles. It is used primarily for personal and business travel, as well as for flight training.
