Description
The Cirrus SR22-G5 is a single-engine, four-seat, low-wing, composite aircraft produced by Cirrus Aircraft. It is powered by a 310 hp (231 kW) Continental IO-550-N piston engine. The aircraft is equipped with a built-in Garmin Perspective avionics suite which includes a dual 10.4-inch G1000 PFD/MFD, dual GFC 700 autopilot, and dual WAAS GPS receivers. The aircraft features the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), a whole-aircraft parachute designed to bring the aircraft and its occupants safely to the ground in the event of an emergency. The SR22-G5 also has a maximum cruise speed of 182 knots (209 mph, 336 km/h) and a maximum range of 950 nm (1,100 mi, 1,770 km).
