Description
The HondaJet HA-420 is a light business jet produced by Honda Aircraft Company. It was the first aircraft developed by Honda and the first light business jet to feature an over-the-wing engine mount configuration. The aircraft was designed to maximize performance, efficiency, and comfort while offering the ultimate in luxury. The jet features advanced aerodynamics, a unique configuration with an over-the-wing engine mount, and Honda’s patented Natural Laminar Flow (NLF) technology.
The HondaJet HA-420 is powered by two GE Honda HF120 turbofan engines, each providing 2,095 lbf of thrust. The aircraft can cruise at a maximum speed of 486 knots (565 mph), a maximum altitude of 43,000 ft, and a range of 1,400 nautical miles. The jet has a cabin length of 16.7 ft and width of 5.1 ft, with seating for up to six passengers. It can be equipped with a variety of luxury amenities, including an entertainment system, climate control, and Wi-Fi. The jet also features an advanced avionics suite, including a high-resolution heads-up display with synthetic vision and optional traffic collision avoidance system.
