Description
The AgustaWestland AW139 is a twin-engine, medium-sized utility helicopter manufactured by Leonardo. It has been in service since 2005 and is widely used for various purposes, such as passenger transport, search and rescue, law enforcement, and corporate/VIP transport. It is capable of carrying up to 16 passengers, with a cruise speed of up to 140 knots (259 km/h) and a maximum range of over 600 nm (1110 km). The AW139 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW207C engines, each providing up to 1,800 horsepower. It is equipped with the latest avionics, including a four-axis autopilot, dual digital flight controls, and a four-axis digital avionics suite. The AW139 has been certified for single-pilot operations, making it an ideal choice for corporate and VIP transport.
