Description

The Bell 407 is a four-bladed, single-engine, civil utility helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter. It is a member of the 407 model family and is based on the Bell 206L-4 LongRanger. The 407 features a four-blade main rotor and a four-blade tail rotor, as well as a Fenestron tail rotor system. It is powered by a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B/8 turboshaft engine and has a cruising speed of around 140 knots (161 mph).
