The Gulfstream III is an American business jet that was manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace. It was the first of the Gulfstream family of business jets and was first flown in 1979. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce Spey turbofan engines and has a maximum range of 4,200 nautical miles (7,800 km). The aircraft is capable of carrying up to 14 passengers and has a maximum cruise speed of Mach 0.86. The Gulfstream III is used for corporate and executive travel, as well as for medical and military transport.
