Description

The Mitsubishi Solitaire is a two-seat, single-engine, all-metal light aircraft developed and manufactured by the Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation of Japan. It was designed for sport and leisure flying, as well as for basic training. The aircraft first flew in the late 1980s and was certified in Japan in 1991.
The Solitaire features a low-wing design and a fixed tricycle landing gear. The aircraft is powered by a Lycoming O-360 piston engine, producing 150hp. In terms of performance, the Solitaire is capable of a maximum speed of 200 knots and a range of 1,200 nautical miles.
The Solitaire has been exported to various countries around the world, including the United States, Mexico, and the Philippines. In the U.S., the aircraft is sold by Texas Aircraft, who serves as the exclusive distributor. Over 100 Solitaires have been sold worldwide.
