Description
The Piaggio Avanti P-180 is a twin-engine business turboprop aircraft produced by the Italian manufacturer Piaggio Aerospace since 1990. It is the first all-composite aircraft ever to be certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66 engines, each producing 1,200 shaft horsepower, and has a maximum speed of Mach 0.70. It is capable of carrying eight passengers and two crew in a pressurized cabin and has a range of up to 1,800 nautical miles. It is also equipped with a three-axis autopilot system and a digital avionics suite.
