Description
The Learjet 40XR is a light jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. It was introduced in 2004, replacing the Learjet 45. It can hold up to 8 passengers and features a range of 2,040 nm. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW305A engines, each producing 3,500 lb of thrust. It has a maximum cruising speed of 440 knots and a service ceiling of 45,000 feet. It has a wingspan of 43.6 feet, a length of 57.3 feet and a height of 16.3 feet. The 40XR is equipped with an advanced navigation system featuring two LCD displays, a terrestrial and satellite communications system, and a TCAS system.
