Description
The Bombardier Learjet 40XR is a light business jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. It is an updated version of the Learjet 40 and features a more powerful engine and an improved avionics suite. It has a maximum range of 2,040 nautical miles (3,781 km) and can accommodate up to seven passengers. It is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-20BR engines, each rated at 3,500 lbf (15.6 kN) thrust. The aircraft has a maximum cruising speed of Mach 0.78 and a maximum operating altitude of 45,000 ft (13,716 m). It also features an advanced avionics suite, including a digital flight management system, an enhanced ground proximity warning system, and a synthetic vision system.
