Description
The Robinson R44 Raven II is a four-seat light utility helicopter produced by Robinson Helicopter Company. It is powered by a Lycoming IO-540-AE1A5 fuel-injected engine and has a maximum cruise speed of 125 knots (143 mph). It has a maximum range of 325 nautical miles (375 miles) and a service ceiling of 14,000 feet. The R44 Raven II is equipped with a two-bladed main rotor system and a two-bladed tail rotor. It also features an autopilot system, air conditioning and an optional glass cockpit. The R44 Raven II is certified for day and night VFR (Visual Flight Rules) operations and single-pilot IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) operations.
