Description
The Bell 407GX is a light single-engine utility helicopter that was first introduced in 2009. It is based on the Bell 407, which was originally developed in 1996. The 407GX is powered by a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B/8 Turboshaft engine, which produces a maximum continuous power of 732 shp (546 kW). It has a maximum speed of 145 knots (268 km/h) and a range of 360 nautical miles (667 km). It can carry up to seven passengers and features a four-axis autopilot and integrated digital avionics system. The 407GX also has a Garmin G1000H integrated flight deck, which includes dual 10.4-inch LCD displays and a 3-axis digital autopilot.
