Description
The AgustaWestland AW169 is a twin-engine, multi-role light-intermediate helicopter manufactured by AgustaWestland, a subsidiary of Leonardo. The AW169 is the first AgustaWestland helicopter to feature a complete full glass cockpit, fly-by-wire flight controls, active vibration control, high-speed rotor system and a modern avionics suite. It can be used for a variety of missions, including passenger and VIP transport, offshore transport, emergency medical services, search and rescue and law enforcement. The AW169 has a maximum takeoff weight of 5,700kg (12,500lb) and can carry up to 8 passengers.
