The Beechcraft 58P Baron is a six-seat, twin-engine, light piston aircraft produced by Beechcraft. It is a variant of the Beechcraft Baron. The 58P Baron was manufactured from 1983 to 1995, during which time it was the most popular model of the Baron family. It is powered by two normally aspirated Continental IO-520-C engines of 285 hp. The 58P features a retractable landing gear, wing flaps, and a pressurized cabin. It has a range of 1,000 nautical miles and a cruising speed of 184 knots. The 58P has a maximum takeoff weight of 5,300 lbs and a maximum landing weight of 4,800 lbs. The cabin is equipped with leather seating, air conditioning, and an audio system. The 58P is popular among business travelers and private pilots alike, owing to its reliability and comfortable interior.
