Description
The Bombardier Global 5000 is a large ultra-long-range business jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. It is based on the Challenger 850 platform, and is the second-largest member of the Global family. The Global 5000 has a range of 5,200 nautical miles (9,630km) and can accommodate up to 14 passengers. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 turbofan engines, each producing 14,750lb of thrust. The aircraft has a maximum cruising speed of Mach 0.87. The Global 5000 features a six-foot-tall stand-up cabin and a full galley. It is equipped with an advanced avionics suite, including the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion system. The aircraft also features an optional in-flight entertainment system and high-speed internet access.
