The Global 6500 is a business jet manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. It is a long-range, wide-body jet that is designed to fly non-stop distances of 7,700 nautical miles (14,260 km). It has a spacious interior, with seating for up to 16 passengers and a separate crew rest area. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PurePower PW800 series turbofan engines, which are capable of generating up to 16,500 lbf (73.45 kN) of thrust each. The Global 6500 has a range of up to 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km) and a maximum cruising speed of Mach 0.85. It also features the latest in avionics and communications technology, including the company's patented Synthetic Vision System, which provides 3D images of terrain and obstacles. The aircraft is also equipped with an enhanced cabin management system and high-speed satellite internet access. The Global 6500 is part of Bombardier's Global family of business jets, which also includes the Global 5000 and Global Express XRS.
